About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how WedBookings collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information when you use our website builder, hosting, lead capture, CRM, billing and support services.
Information we collect
We may collect account and contact information such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and billing information. We also collect business content you provide, including logos, images, service information, pricing, testimonials, social links and website copy.
When a customer uses a website created through WedBookings, enquiry information may be submitted to the website owner and stored in that owner's CRM. This can include a person's name, email address, phone number, preferred date, location, service, budget and message.
How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, secure and improve WedBookings; create and host websites; generate requested AI website content; deliver enquiry and service emails; provide CRM features; process subscriptions; prevent misuse; and respond to support requests.
Payments
Payments and payment card details are processed by Stripe. WedBookings does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may process personal information in accordance with its own privacy practices.
AI features
When you ask WedBookings to generate website content, relevant business information you supplied may be sent to our AI service provider to produce the requested draft. AI-generated content must be reviewed before publication. Do not place sensitive personal information, confidential client information or information you are not authorised to share into AI generation fields.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use third-party service providers for cloud hosting and storage, payments, email delivery and AI features. These providers may process information in Australia or overseas where necessary to provide their services. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and limit information shared to what is reasonably required for the relevant service.
Your business and your leads
If you use WedBookings to collect enquiries, you are responsible for your own handling of lead and customer personal information and for complying with privacy laws that apply to your business. You must only upload photos, testimonials and other personal information where you have the right or permission to do so.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Account deletion can be requested through Billing & account, subject to active subscription requirements shown in the app.
Access, correction and privacy questions
You can update certain account and billing details through WedBookings and the billing portal. To ask about access to or correction of personal information, or to raise a privacy concern, contact support@wedbookings.com.au.
